Review: Kit Kat Camp is a really sweet story for kids about three kids who visit their grandma (who they call Kit Kat). At first, the children are disappointed when their grandma says no electronics, but soon they come to embrace the gift of imagination. Zooming through space, they pass all the planets. It’s such a gentle story, but also so beautiful. I think it’s a reminder for anyone who reads it just how small we are in the big and beautiful universe. This book should be an encouragement to any parent who wants to pull back on their kids’ screen time that boredom doesn’t last forever and that imagination can grow.
